The Village Workshop is a makers space located in Northville, Michigan. Formerly known as the Belanger Building, it has been a historical fixture in downtown Northville since the late 1880’s. The Stinson Aircraft Company set up their factory here in the 1920’s, which employed 250 workers. The owners of the Village Workshop wanted to create a large-scale mural to pay homage to the building’s history – a symbol of aircraft design and manufacturing.
